How to request deletion
You can request deletion of your Ironji Driver account and data in any of these ways:
- In the app: open the Ironji Driver app, go to Profile → Delete account, and confirm. This sends an authenticated deletion request for your account.
- By email: write to [email protected] from the address on your account, or include the phone number on your account so we can verify your identity.
- Using the form below: complete the deletion request form on this page.
What we delete
When your request is verified and completed, we delete or irreversibly anonymize the personal data we hold about you. Depending on how you used Ironji, this includes:
- Your account profile and identity details (name, phone number, email, national ID / passport number, date of birth).
- Documents and photos you uploaded (driving licence, motor inspection certificate, vehicle insurance, yellow card, profile picture).
- Your location history and movement data collected by the app.
- Device and sign-in information (device identifiers, known-device records).
- Your ratings and rating history.
What we keep, and why
Some records cannot be deleted immediately because we are legally required to keep them. After your account is deleted, the following are retained on a limited, lawful basis and then deleted or anonymized:

Personal identifiers in retained financial records are minimized so the records can no longer be used to identify you beyond what the law requires.
Deleting specific data without closing your account
You do not have to delete your whole Ironji Driver account to remove data. You can ask us to delete specific categories of the personal data we hold about you while keeping your account open. Send the request through any of the channels in How to request deletion (in the app, by email to [email protected], or using the form below), tell us which data you want removed, and we will action verified requests within 30 days.
On request, we can delete the following while your account stays active:
- Location & movement history — the GPS and trip data collected by the app.
- Uploaded documents and photos that are not legally required to operate your account (for example, your profile picture).
- Ratings history — your ratings and rating history.
- Analytics & device data — app-usage analytics and device identifiers associated with you.
Timeline & verification
For requests made through the app, your identity is confirmed by your authenticated session. For email or web-form requests, we contact you to verify ownership of the account (for example, via the phone number on the account) before we proceed.
What happens after deletion
- Your account is closed and you will no longer be able to sign in.
- Your personal data is deleted or anonymized across our systems, except for the records listed above.
- Reinstalling the app will not restore a deleted account; you would need to register again.
